Needlepoint has always been my favorite creative outlet; equal parts relaxing, rewarding, and a little celebratory (best enjoyed with a Sauvy B or a gin & tonic in hand).

Three years ago, after knee surgery left me on crutches for six weeks, I found myself with plenty of time to stitch, and struggling to find a canvas that felt exactly like what I wanted. So, with a cocktail and an idea, Pin & Tonic was born: a blend of my favorite pastime and favorite drink.

Today, I design hand painted needlepoint canvases, including custom pieces that mix classic style with playful quips. I love welcoming beginners into the craft and helping seasoned stitchers expand their skills. From sketching new designs to hand-painting customs, my love affair runs deep; and I’m happiest with a canvas in hand.
